The SWISSPEAK Resorts in Meiringen was opened in December 2019 and is located right next to the exciting Sherlock Holmes Museum in the centre of Meiringen.
The 79 family-friendly, high-quality 2 to 4-room apartments for a maximum of 8 people offer a fantastic view of the surrounding mountain world. All apartments are equipped with a fully fitted kitchen with oven, dishwasher, glass ceramic hob and Nespresso coffee machine, double diwan bed in the living room, underfloor heating, parquet floors and furnished terrace or balcony.
While the parents can comfortably end the day with a glass of wine in the lounge or bistro, the small and big children can let off steam in the Kids Room or the Gaming Room. Alternatively, adults can relax in the sauna.
In summer, the Haslital offers many excursion possibilities such as the spectacular Aare Gorge, the Reichenbach Falls, the famous Ballenberg Open-Air Museum and the Grimsel World with the 106% steep Gelmer Railway.
From Meiringen, the gondola lift takes you up to the Hasliberg, with the Alpentower offering 360-degree panoramic views and the exciting Muggestutz dwarf hiking trails for families. All the sights mentioned can be reached either on foot or easily by public transport.
Of course, the well-known excursion destinations in the Jungfrau Region such as the Jungfraujoch - Top of Europe, Grindelwald or Interlaken are also easily reached by public transport or by car.

Here you will be handed the key to your holiday apartment and you will immediately have a preferred contact person for the duration of your stay for excursion tips and other questions.

Mysterious traces of Sherlock Holmes can be found in the resort. First rumours are spreading that Sherlock Holmes is showing his presence in the lobby and in the apartments.
What is certain is that from many balconies you have a wonderful view of Sherlock Holmes' past, the impressive Reichenbach Falls. Join the exciting Sherlock Holmes puzzle fun at the resort and museum at Conan Doyle Place right next door.
